Week-end to discover the French Burgundy Truffle : digging in forest and cooking-class at La Cimentelle

The Burgundy Truffle is well known as it Latin name «Tuber uncinatum».
It is the most important in Europe, even in Sweden.
The truffles grow in regular Forests near oak or hazel trees.
They are black with a complex form (1 to 10 cm of diameter).
Come to test the agreeable flavor of earthy scent of Burgundy.

Half day  walking in the forest to dig Burgundy Truffles (with a dog): 40 to 50 € /person -Equipment : Boots and raincoat.

You can also buy Truffles, depending of the season. (Truffles Market at Moyers-sur-Serein depending of the Year)
Dates : 1st November to 20th December (can be during the week)

Truffle cooking classes at La Cimentelle

Dishes proposed for cooking class around truffles : 
Appetizers et "mises en bouches" : Verrine de potiron (pumpkin) aux truffes, Saumon mariné truffé, Brouillade d'oeufs ultra-frais aux truffes, oeufs cocotte aux truffes et foie gras.
Starters : Mousseline de topinambour (Jerusalem artichoke), Escalope de foie gras chaud, Risotto, St Jacques (scalopps) aux truffes.
Main dishs : Soupe aux truffes Elysée, Grenadin de veau sauce périgueux aux truffes...
Cheese : Brie farcie aux truffes
Dessert et mignardises : Possibility of dessert with truffles (Parfait glacé au chocolat noir aux truffes, glace aux truffes)
